Tick, Tick... Boom! Estelle Parsons leads the Broadway premiere of Eric Coble’s new play The Velocity of Autumn. The Oscar winner is cast as an eccentric 79-year-old Brooklynite who barricades herself in her brownstone, armed with explosives and a Zippo lighter. She's visited by her estranged son (played by two-time Tony winner Stephen Spinella), who tries to reason with her. (This is Estelle Parsons we're talking about, so good luck, Stephen.) Directed by Molly Smith, The Velocity of Autumn doesn't begin performances at Broadway’s Booth Theatre until April 1, but Broadway.com has your first look at the show’s striking poster. Check it out above, and mark your calendars because you don't want to miss Parsons' fiery star turn in The Velocity of Autumn.
