Make way for the Queen! Off-Broadway's interactive entertainment experience Queen of the Night will extend its run of performances indefinitely. Originally only scheduled to play through February 9, the show is now set to officially open on February 1 at the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel.
Diirected by Christine Jones and created by Randy Weiner, the new production is a fusion of performance, music, circus, cuisine, design and nightlife that welcomes the audience into a wholly collaborative event. The evening is a dark debutante ball thrown by The Marchesa for her daughter Pamina. Drinks will flow, dinner is served and over the course of the gala, guests will be engaged, entertained and immersed in this genre-blurring initiation.
The Queen of the Night creative team also features set design by Jones, costume design by Thom Browne, lighting design by Austin R. Smith, sound design by Darron L. West and additional design by Douglas Little.
