Feel your heart start to "trem-b-ling" whenever Jessie Mueller is around? Us too! The Beautiful leading lady is set to give audiences a peek behind the scenes at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre each week with her new Broadway.com video blog, Natural Woman: Backstage at Beautiful with Jessie Mueller. The new vlog begins on January 16 and runs every Thursday for eight weeks.
Mueller received a Tony nomination for her Broadway debut in On a Clear Day You Can See Forever. She went on to star in Broadway's The Mystery of Edwin Drood (for which she was nominated for a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award) and Nice Work If You Can Get It. Her additional credits include Lincoln Center’s Carousel, the Public Theater’s Into the Woods and Chicago productions of Meet Me in St. Louis, Baby and She Loves Me.
Beautiful follows the life of singer-songwriter Carole King from the days she was a Brooklyn teen (named Carol Klein) looking for a break in the record business to her years as a pop songwriter at the Brill Building to her chart-topping solo caree. In addition to Mueller, Beautiful features Jake Epstein as Gerry Goffin, Jarrod Spector as Barry Mann, Anika Larsen as Cynthia Weil, Jeb Brown as Don Kirshner and Liz Larsen as Genie Klein.
