Well, there is nothing like first-hand evidence! If you just can’t wait for the season three premiere of Sherlock, check out Newsies alum Andrew Keenan-Bolger as Watson in this fun parody video. Keenan-Bolger tweeted the video, Sherlock: The Musical on January 13, preparing us to get ready for a “doppelganger head-explosion,” and he wasn’t joking. The Broadway fave, alongside Travis Slavin as faux Benedict Cumberbatch, brought to life a hilarious musical number about Sherlock faking his death. Featuring music and lyrics by Antonius Nazareth, Sherlock: The Musical laughs at the idea of Sherlock Holmes being dead. “Sherlock Holmes dead? Never! Sherlock survived and together with Jon Watson he is off solving mysteries again!” Check out this catchy tune and the uncanny likeness to the BBC stars below before Sherlock returs to PBS on Sunday, January 19.
