Watch Yankees Mark Teixeira and CC Sabathia Take a Swing at August: Osage County on Fallon

What happens when you mix baseball and Broadway? On one hand, you get the new play Bronx Bombers, which follows New York Yankees icons through a century of the storied team’s history. And on the other, you get All-Stars and World Series champs acting out scenes from Tony-winning dramas. That’s what happened January 15 on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon when, as part of Fallon’s “Suggestion Box” feature, he recruited Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira and starting pitcher CC Sabathia to act out a riveting scene from Tracy Letts’ August: Osage County. It wasn’t the first Great White Way experience for either Yankee; Teixeira made his Main Stem debut in Rock of Ages last year and Sabathia’s been known to take in a Broadway show from time to time.  But this...
