Carly Rae Jepsen is ready to be Broadway royalty. On February 4, the pop star will slip on the iconic glass slippers, a gorgeous dress and a sparkly tiara to become the title princess in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Jepsen told PAPERMAG that she grew up performing in musicals and that making her Main Stem debut is something that's "always been on my bucket list." At 28 years old, Jepsen has already topped the Billboard charts with the smash hit "Call Me Maybe," but she's now officially ready to sing like a musical theater star. "We've all been figuring out the happy balance between sounding like me and still making it sound like a Rodgers and Hammerstein musical," she explained. But Jepsen isn't letting all the rehearsals and pressure get to her. "I'm a princess," she said. "Let's just be this for a minute."
