Hello, Lady Liberty! See the New Star of the Rockettes Extravaganza Heart & Lights at Radio City

The Rockettes are heading back to Radio City Music Hall—but this time, they’ll be sticking around all spring long! The new dance musical Heart & Lights will begin performances March 27, but before the love letter to New York City premieres, we’ve got a sneak peek of the show’s biggest star: Lady Liberty! A 26-foot tall animatronic Statue of Liberty puppet built by the Creature Technology Company traveled for six weeks to get to her new home in the Big Apple. Composed of 1,760 pounds of steel, 753 feet of fabric and 20 motors, the giant puppet is almost as grand as the green goddess herself.
