Welcome to Oz! Christine Dwyer, Jenni Barber, Justin Guarini and two-time Tony nominee Mary Testa begin performances in the Broadway company of Wicked February 25 at the Gershwin Theatre. Dwyer will go green as Elphaba, Barber will sparkle as Glinda, Guarini will don Fiyero's white pants and Testa will get tricky as Madame Morrible. In addition, P. J. Benjamin will return to the blockbuster tuner as the Wizard.
Dwyer has defied gravity across the country as Elphaba and Maureen in the national tours of Wicked and Rent, respectively. Barber has appeared on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Performers, The Nance and Annie. Guarini is best known for being first runner-up in the debut season of American Idol and has appeared on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, American Idiot and the most recent production of Romeo and Juliet. Testa received Tony nods for her roles in 42nd Street and On the Town.
