What does it mean to die and what does it mean to be truly alive? Tickets are now available to see Matt Doyle explore this in Jasper in Deadland off-Broadway. Directed by Brandon Ivie, the show will play March 16 through April 13, with opening night set for March 26 at the West End Theatre at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew.
With music and lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver and a book by Oliver and Hunter Foster, the musical takes you on a mythological thrill-ride through a hybrid underworld with 17-year-old Jasper, as he faces down demons, gods, and monsters in search of his best friend Agnes.
Joining Doyle as Jasper in the cast will be Allison Scagliotti as Gretchen and Ben Crawford as Mr. Lethe. The tuner will be choreographed by Lorin Latarro, with set design by Patrick Rizzotti, costume design by Bobby Pearce, lighting designer by Herrick Goldman and sound design by Ed Chapman.
