Congratulations to Tony winner Heather Headley, who announced on her Facebook page March 26 that she’s pregnant with baby number two with her husband Brian Musso. Headley wrote: “in a few, hopefully very short and not too hot months, our little family will welcome our new little one.”
The Grammy winner had been rumored to be returning to Broadway in the musical adaptation of The Bodyguard, which she headlined in London. Headley also revealed: “When I said I was going to start a new project, I wasn't thinking this, but God obviously had 'additional' plans for us.”
Headley made her Broadway debut in The Lion King before earning a Tony Award for her leading role in Aida. She made her West End debut in the stage adaptation of the Whitney Houston musical The Bodyguard, a performance for which she received an Olivier Award nomination. As a recording artist, Headley won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album for Audience of One.
