Presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the show will be performed at the Minskoff Theatre on April 21 and 22.
Geoffrey Rush Would Do Anything to Play Oliver!'s Composer
It's a fine life! Geoffrey Rush is to play Oliver! composer Lionel Bart in a movie musical. According to the Daily Mail, the film will be directed by Vadim Jean, feature Bart’s songs and follow his rags-to-riches-and-back-again story. This isn't the first tuner that the Tony and Oscar winner has been linked with—Rush has also been reported as interested in appearing in a big-screen adaptation of The Drowsy Chaperone.
