#NerdProm will get some Broadway star power this May 3! Tony nominee and Frozen favorite Josh Gad and Broadway alum and Glee star Darren Criss will be attending this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. According to Deadline they are set to sit on the USA Today and Reuters tables respectively.
Other Great White Way vets attending include Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who will be hanging out with ABC/Disney, Jeff Goldblum, who will be joining Gad on the USA Today table, while Matthew Morrison and Patrick Stewart are on, wait for it, the Fox News Channel's guestlist!
“Nerd Prom,” as inside-the-Beltway types have affectionately labeled the dinner, is Washington’s attempt at a true red carpet event. This year is an even swankier deal than usual as it marks the centennial dinner for the White House Correspondents Association. Joel McHale will be warming up the crowd for the main headliner, President Obama.
Watch below as Tony winner Kevin Spacey, in character as House of Cards’ Frank Underwood, owns the event last year.
