See Glee’s Chris Colfer Audition for Peter Pan with a Cats Tune!

No…not for NBC’s live broadcast. At least, we don’t think so. The May 6 episode of Glee featured a story line in which Kurt, played by Chris Colfer (who also wrote the episode), auditions for a retirement home production of Peter Pan after the leading lady passes away in the middle of her entrance. Ready to step up to the plate, Kurt channels his inner Grizabella to perform Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Memory” from Cats with Maggie Banks, portrayed by Oscar nominee and original Gypsy cast member June Squibb, alongside a host of aged Broadway retirees.
