Susan Louise O’Connor (Blithe Spirit) and Hunter Canning (War Horse) will star in The Diorama, a new play by Jennifer Brown Stone and David S. Stone. Directed by David S. Stone, the romantic comedy will run from May 28 through June 14 at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row. Opening night is set for May 30.
When her artist sister Cecily invades her NYC apartment, Wall Street lawyer Janey gets more than she bargained for when Cecily begins constructing a life size igloo. While the two sisters seek a sense of belonging—either in a relationship or a safe place to call home—they are haunted by the tragedies of the past. Along the way they teach each other about life, love and happiness.
In addition to O’Connor and Canning, the cast of The Diorama will include Alberto Bonilla, Bob Greenberg and Victoria Mack. The play will feature choreography by Wendy Seyb, set design by Jen Varbalow, costumes by Sidney Shannon, lighting design by Joe Doran and sound design by Nick Simone.
