Cabaret Star Alan Cumming Talks Swastika Tattoos on his 'Beyonce Bum'

Alan Cumming stopped by Late Night to chat with Seth Meyers about everything from Cabaret and The Good Wife to having swastikas temporarily tattooed on his ass. Of course, the tattoo is part of a crucial reveal in the revival led by the Tony winner and Michelle Williams, but it has raised some questions in his personal life. “Sometimes,” he explains in the video below, “people would see it—my bum—in situations, and I would forget that I had a swastika on.” What situations, you wonder? “So I’d be having sex with people..." Forget we asked, Cumming. Of course, there are PG encounters as well, such as getting shots from his doctor, which caused some swelling in the derriere. That, plus the stairs leading to his dressing room, led to what the star refers to as his “Beyonce bum.” Check it out in person at Studio 54!
