Brush Up Your Shakespeare: Much Ado About Nothing Kicks Off the Public’s Shakespeare in the Park Season

Sigh no more, because the Public Theater’s 2014 Shakespeare in the Park season begins on June 3! Much Ado About Nothing will start performances at the Delacaorte Theater prior to a June 16 opening night. Under the direction of Jack O’Brien, the production stars Hamish Linklater, Tony nominee Lily Rabe, Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and Steel Burkhardt.
Shakespeare’s unsettling comedy of love and deceit will also feature Austin Durant, John Glover, David Manis, Kathryn Meisle, Ismenia Mendes, John Pankow, Pedro Pascal, Eric Sheffer Stevens, Zoë Winters, Matt Bittner, Alex Breaux, Paco Lozano and Matthew Russell.
The Central Park production will run through July 6.
