Going Solo: Just Jim Dale, Starring Tony & Grammy Winner Jim Dale, Opens Off-Broadway

Tony and two-time Grammy winner and Oscar nominee Jim Dale’s solo show Just Jim Dale opens officially on June 3 at the Laura Pels Theatre. The Roundabout production is directed by Tony winner Richard Maltby Jr.

In Just Jim Dale, Dale recounts an unequaled lifetime in the theater and myriad irresistible showbiz tales—from a childhood performing on the British Music Hall stage, through his many Broadway triumphs in Scapino, Barnum and Me and My Girl, to his experiences narrating all seven Harry Potter audiobooks. The show is a collection of stories from Dale's breadth of theatrical work and songs, including “The Colors of My Life,” “The Lambeth Walk” and “Georgy Girl.”

Just Jim Dale will run through August 10.
