After Midnight Guest Star Fantasia Barrino Passes the Torch to Grammy Winner Patti LaBelle

There might have been some “Stormy Weather” in New York City on June 3, but that didn’t stop the cast of After Midnight from welcoming their new special guest star Patti LaBelle back to Broadway! The legendary singer, who is currently in rehearsal, will succeed Fantasia Barrino in the toe-tapping jazz revue beginning June 10. Directed by Warren Carlyle, the Tony-nominated tuner features the songs of Duke Ellington and his contemporaries, played by the Jazz at Lincoln Center All Stars Orchestra.
