Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today.
Josh Gad Won't Get Into a Snowman Costume for Broadway-Bound Frozen
Josh Gad, who played the lovable Olaf the Snowman in the megahit movie Frozen, doesn’t believe he’ll be reprising his performance in the planned Great White Way adaptation. "I think I have a busy enough slate ahead of me without considering the ramifications of putting a snowman outfit on and traipsing across a Broadway stage," Gad revealed to USA Today. The Book of Mormon Tony nominee is one of the busiest stars around right now, so we’ll just have to content ourselves with seeing him in projects like The Wedding Ringer.
Daniel Radcliffe Wants to be Robin in Batman
Holy Hollywood! Daniel Radcliffe wants to be in Batman. The Cripple of Inishmaan star told Buzzfeed: “It’s happening isn’t it? With Ben Affleck. I could be Robin. I’m perfect.” The five-time Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner may be too late to star in Zach Snyder’s Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has already started shooting, but surely not for the rebooted (yet again) franchise. We'll be deeply disappointed with Tinseltown if this doesn't happen.
James Franco is in Trouble With North Korea (Really)
James Franco’s in trouble again and it’s got nothing to do with Instagram this time. You could say he’s stepped it up a notch as he’s now managed to upset North Korea. According to the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph, the tyrannical regime is unimpressed with the Of Mice and Men’s upcoming comedy with Seth Rogen, The Interview. Why? The film follows the story of a pair of talk show hosts who are recruited by the US government to assassinate Kim Jong-un, the country’s real-life supreme leader. Yes, that'd do it. Check out the movie’s trailer below to see what all the fuss is about.
