Is this real life?! tick, tick...BOOM! star Lin-Manuel Miranda had a special guest drop by to see him after the dress rehearsal of the new revival: Stage and screen favorite Raul Esparza, star of the 2001 off-Broadway cast of tick, tick...BOOM! Miranda tweeted about the emotional meeting, “The first person at my dressing room door after the show. I had no idea. There are no words.” Esparza, who played the role of Jon after composer Jonathan Larson’s death in 1996, is now passing the torch to Miranda.
