The 2014 MLB All-Star Game took place on July 15 at Minneapolis’ Target Field, and Tony and Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Idina Menzel had the honor of playing shortstop for the American League team. Wait, that’s not right. (That’s Derek Jeter? Never heard of him.) She was there to sing, and that she did. The If/Then star gave a pre-game performance of the national anthem and Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young."
