It’s no secret that Bullets Over Broadway star Zach Braff is, and has always been, a musical theater geek. And we love him for it. From his brave confession at the 2007 Tony Awards to the Scrubs musical episode and potential Broadway spectacular, showtunes are the music that makes Zach Braff dance. But his obsession is more deep-rooted than we originally thought. On July 21, Braff revealed to Seth Meyers on Late Night that he had a musical theater themed Bar Mitzvah (not to be confused with the Jule Styne musical). The night included Braff making his big entrance to “Let’s Hear It For the Boy,” (which, is kind of from a musical but not exactly, and plus, isn’t the whole idea that he’s no longer a boy?). He also had live centerpieces at the tables dressed as characters from Cats and Les Miserables that did the robot. Go check out Braff in his Broadway debut at the St. James Theatre, and maybe ask to see his Bar Mitzvah photos at the stage door. We need photo evidence.
