Broadway alum Finn Wittrock (Death of a Salesman) will feature in American Horror Story: Freak Show. The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, tweeted: “Thrilled to announce the very talented FINN WITTROCK has joined the cast of Freak Show!” The news comes hot on the heels of the report that Tony winner Neil Patrick Harris will be making a guest appearance on the hit FX anthology series.
Spider-Man's Natalie Mendoza Will Star in London's Here Lies Love
Natalie Mendoza, who briefly appeared in Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark as spider goddess Arachne, will star as Imelda Marcos in London’s Here Lies Love. According to the Daily Mail, the company will also include Gia Macuja Atchison, Frances Mayli McCann and Li-Tong Hsu. As previously reported, the hit off-Broadway immersive theatrical event will begin performances at the U.K.’s National Theatre on September 30.
Original Billy Elliot to Return to the Musical
Liam Mower, who was one of the three boys to originate the role of Billy in the West End production of Billy Elliot, will return to the musical for Billy Elliot Live, which will be broadcast to movie theaters, on September 28. The Daily Mail reports that Mower, who is now 22, will play the grown-up Billy at the end of the show.
Israel Horovitz's My Old Lady is One to Watch
