From the Headlines to the Stage: Tickets Now Available for Off-Broadway Premiere of Stalking The Bogeyman

Tickets are now on sale for the off-Broadway premiere of Markus Potter’s Stalking The Bogeyman. The drama will begin performances at New World Stages on September 12 and officially open on September 29. Casting will be announced at a later date.

Stalking The Bogeyman is based on the true story of David Holthouse and follows one man's quest for revenge as he comes to grips with the killer inside him. In the spring of 2003, Holthouse was a successful, award-winning journalist. But no one knew that he had two dark secrets—first, that 25 years ago he was the victim of a violent rape, and second, that he was quietly planning the ultimate revenge on the man responsible.

Adapted and directed by Potter, Stalking the Bogeyman was created from the original true story and subsequent news reports, as well as conversations with Holthouse, lectures he has given around the country and original text by the playwright, with additional writing by Tony nominee Santino Fontana, Shane Zeigler and Shane Stokes.
