What's Happening at 54 Below? Newsboys, Former Pageant Girls & More Take the Stage

We may be entering the last third of summer, but our favorite Broadway stars continue to heat up the stage at 54 Below. Take a look below at just some of the supper club's recently announced sets. From tappers to crooners, sopranos to rockers and a tribute to an icon, the intimate Broadway hotspot is the place to be. 

SAVION GLOVER
8/12 at 7PM
Savion Glover has hoofed all over the place—on Broadway in shows like Bring in ‘Da Noise, Bring in ‘Da Funk, Jelly’s Last Jam and The Tap Dance Kid, on screen on Sesame Street and even at the White House. Now, the Tony-winning choreographer marks his 54 Below debut with a show that will make tap dancing more intimate than ever. GET TICKETS

NEWSBOYS OF NEW YORK RALLY
8/14 at 7PM
Newsies may be closing on August 24, but before that, they’re having one final hurrah and carrying the banner all the way to the swanky supper club. MATT DOYLE
With The Whiskey 5 - 8/15 & 16 at 8PM
Doyle, having recently starred in the off-Broadway hit Jasper in Deadland, returns to 54 Below after his sold-out debut earlier this year. The Broadway fave will perform with the band The Whiskey 5 some original tunes, crowd-pleasing classics and numbers he's always wanted to bring to the stage, but never had the chance (until now). ANDREW KOBER
"Koberet" - 8/18 at 9:30PM
He made you laugh in Hair. He made you cry in Les Miz. He made you go “WTF?” on Vlogger 24601. Now, Andrew Kober takes to the stage for his own solo show filled with works by the hottest up-and-comers and songwriting legends. Apparently, the night will include a story about a Parisian sex club. No concert is complete without one. GET TICKETS

ELENA SHADDOW

Having tackled some classic roles in shows such as Les Miserables, La Cage Aux Folles, Fanny and Showboat, the Broadway darling makes her solo show debut at the Broadway supperclub with a setlist featuring songs from some more contemporary composers. LAUREN PRITCHARD
"My Blossom Dearie" - 9/9 at 9:30PM
Eight years after making her Broadway debut as the free-spirited Ilse in Spring Awakening, Lauren Pritchard has toured all over: from signing a record deal in England, to rocking out as LOLO to co-writing and performing with Panic! We’ll drink to this. Tony winners Christine Ebersole and Beth Leavel, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (who appeared on stage with Elaine Stritch in A Little Night Music) and more will take to the stage to pay tribute to the late Broadway icon.
