Into the Woods star Anna Kendrick stopped by Good Morning America on December 9 to chat about everything from princess footwear to royal babies. In the clip below, the movie musical darling discusses the “modern lady dilemma” her Cinderella has in the highly anticipated film and how great it is to sing the music and lyrics of Stephen Sondheim. “He’s a genius,” she says, “but he tests you, and he writes for actors—so it’s a gift and it’s a joy, but it’s so hard.” Of course, working with Meryl Streep was a blast too, but that’s a given: “It’s like, ‘oxygen is so great.’” Take a look at the interview, and catch Into the Woods in movie theaters on December 25.
