Before original West End star Helen Mirren hops the pond to play Elizabeth II in The Audience on Broadway, she’s passing the London crown to Kristin Scott Thomas! A new version of Peter Morgan’s The Audience will begin performances April 21, 2015 at the Apollo Theatre, directed by Stephen Daldry. The acclaimed play imagines a series of pivotal meetings between the Queen and her 12 Prime Ministers.
