Hey Y'all! Broadway Favorite Kyle Dean Massey Joins Cast of Nashville

Another Great White Way alum is going country on the small screen! Broadway.com Audience Choice Award winner Kyle Dean Massey has been cast in a recurring role on ABC’s Nashville. According to Deadline, Massey will play Kevin Bicks, a successful and openly gay singer/songwriter.

Massey most recently appeared as Pippin's titular prince on Broadway—during which time he took us backstage in his vlog Fresh Prince. His other stage credits include Wicked, Next to Normal (for which he took home a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award), Xanadu, Lucky Guy and Altar Boyz. Massey has appeared on TV previously in Inside Amy Schumer, Up All Night, Hart of Dixie, Cupid and The Good Wife.

Other stage names to appear on the country music drama include Laura Benanti and Will Chase.
