A Month in the Country, Led by GoT's Peter Dinklage & OITNB's Taylor Schilling, Opens Off-Broadway

One of off-Broadway's highest profile shows for some time officially opens on January 29. A Month in the Country, starring Game of Thrones’ Peter Dinklage and Taylor Schilling of Orange Is the New Black will run through February 22. The Classic Stage Company production is directed by Erica Schmidt (Dinklage’s wife).

Ivan Turgenev’s iconic play chronicles the comic and erotic turmoil that befalls an otherwise quiet country estate when a handsome young tutor arrives to teach Natalya Petrovna's (Schilling) young son. But it is Natalya who soon becomes interested in a tutelage of another kind, much to the consternation of her husband and her long suffering friend, Rakitin (Dinklage), who is hopelessly and secretly smitten with her.

In addition to Dinklage and Schilling, the cast includes Anthony Edwards, Annabella Sciorra, Elizabeth Franz, Peter Appel, Ian Etheridge, Mike Faist, James Joseph O’Neil, Elizabeth Ramos, Thomas Jay Ryan, Frank Van Putten and Megan West.
