Matt Doyle Will Reprise His Performance in Jasper in Deadland in Seattle

Matt Doyle is going west! The Broadway fave will reprise his off-Broadway role in Jasper in Deadland in Seattle. The previously reported production at the 5th Avenue Theatre will begin performances on April 30 and officially open on May 14. Brandon Ivie will direct the limited engagement, which will run through May 24.

Doyle’s Broadway credits include War Horse, Spring Awakening,The Book of Mormon and Bye Bye Birdie; he is currently headlining Brooklynite off-Broadway.

Jasper In Deadland follows 17-year-old Jasper, who faces demons, gods and monsters while in search of his best friend. The musical, with music and lyrics by Ryan Scott Oliver and a book by Oliver and Hunter Foster, explores what it means to die and to truly be alive. The show has undergone extensive development since its 2014 incarnation at New York’s West End Theater.
