Sutton Foster’s new TV series Younger is currently airing on TV Land and she stopped by TODAY on April 7 to talk about starring in the show. The two-time Tony winner plays a New Jersey divorced single mother in her early 40s who kickstarts her career by passing herself off as a 20-something—how did she feel when she landed the role? “It’s fun to relive my 20s in a safe environment and be able to retain the maturity of my now ripe old age!” she said, before going on to reveal that she was more of a Blockhead than a Directioner. Check out the interview below—and find out why you won’t be swiping right for Foster on Tinder anytime soon (as if anyone would ever be swiping left for her)!
