Tickets are now available to see standup comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Colin Quinn's return to the New York stage in Colin Quinn: The New York Story. Directed by comedy icon Jerry Seinfeld, Quinn’s new solo show will run through August 16 at off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre.
Based on The Coloring Book, Colin Quinn: The New York Story is a satirical take on the eccentricities that make New York City the center of the universe. Quinn, who was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, explains: “I’m working my way down to the most fascinating subject: me!”
In addition to SNL, Quinn’s numerous screen credits include Remote Control, Tough Crowd, Girls and Inside Amy Schumer. On stage, he’s appeared on Broadway in Colin Quinn: An Irish Wake and Colin Quinn: Long Story Short, which was also directed by Seinfeld and nominated for a Drama Desk and an Emmy. Colin Quinn: Unconstitutional played the Cherry Lane Theatre in 2013.
Opening night for The New York Story is set for July 23.
