Where’s the best place to cool down on a hot summer day (and you’ve lost the Hamilton lotto again)? Head down the steps to 54 Below, where each week dozens of stars—from Tony winners to familiar faces of the screen—belt it out as you dine. Here are just a few recently announced acts that have our attention.
MARA WILSON & JENNY JAFFE
"Send in the Clowns" - 7/21 at 7PM
It's no secret that funny ladies of Twitter Mara Wilson and Jenny Jaffe love Broadway. The two trade tweeting for belting as they—and their fellow comedian friends—take on their favorite musical theater roles. Years ago, Wilson starred in Matilda on the big screen. Is it possible that she’ll get a little bit “Naughty” once more? And this time, sing about it? GET TICKETS
ALICE RIPLEY
"All Sondheim" - 8/12 & 9/23 at 9:30PM
Alice Ripley has taken on (and created) many iconic roles on the Great White Way, from Les Miz’s Fantine, to the one that won her a Tony: Diana in Next to Normal. But remarkably, Ripley has yet to play a Sondheim role on Broadway. For two nights, she’ll take on myriad numbers penned by the maestro, from “Rose’s Turn” to “Ladies Who Lunch.” Everybody rise! BROADWAY PRINCES PARTY
Hosted by Laura Osnes - 8/16 at 7 & 9:30PM
Bow down to Broadway royalty! The Broadway.com Audience Choice Award-winning Cinderella has assembled a group of some the Great White Way’s most dignified leading ladies—including The King and I Tony winner Ruthie Ann Miles, Caissie Levy and Kara Lindsay—for a (lovely) night of glass slippers, tiaras and ballgowns. CARLY SAKOLOVE
"I'm Every Woman" - 8/19 at 7PM
The talented impressionist will raise her voice voices once again for a night full of stars. Expect visits from Adele! Shakira! Liza! Judy! Sort of. But put the phones away, because if there’s anything scarier than Patti LuPone stealing your phone, it’s Carly Sakolove as Patti LuPone stealing your phone. GET TICKETS
WILL SWENSON
9/16-19 at 7PM
The Tony nominee makes his 54 Below solo show debut this September with an act full of tales and tunes. We honestly don’t know much more than that, but we’re already sold. Will he sing Side Show? Will there be elephants? Will Mama Broadway come down from Eggfartopia for a guest appearance? We can’t wait to find out! GET TICKETS
ANNELIESE VAN DER POL
With Raven-Symoné - 9/22 at 7PM
Get out that lunchbox! The That’s So Raven favorite has graced the Broadway and off-Broadway stage before, but this marks her New York solo show debut, and she’s pulling out all the stops: from Babs to Joni Mitchell. Fellow Broadway alum and Raven co-star Raven-Symoné will make a cameo, and they or may or may not sing about shopping and acid rain. We’re not sure. GET TICKETS
