She's Our Right Hand Man! Something Rotten!’s Heidi Blickenstaff Is Broadway.com’s Newest Vlogger

Bea excited! Heidi Blickenstaff is the latest Broadway fave to show us the glitz and glamour of the Great White Way. Look out for Renaissance Woman: Backstage at Something Rotten! with Heidi Blickenstaff!

Blickenstaff, who plays Bea in the musical comedy, will grab a camera and give us a glimpse of backstage life at the St. James Theatre, where she throws on a beard, puts on “A musical” and...something involving eggs. Expect appearances from her hysterical co-stars, including Brian d’Arcy James, John Cariani, Brad Oscar, Kate Reinders and the bard himself: Tony winner Christian Borle.

Before Something Rotten!, Blickenstaff appeared on Broadway in The Addams Family, [title of show] (in which she played—get this—Heidi), The Little Mermaid and The Full Monty. She works hard and plays harder: this spring she celebrated her Broadway opening by getting married the very next day.

Renaissance Woman begins on July 23 and will run every Thursday for eight weeks.
