Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today and over the weekend.
Aaron Tveit's Big Sky Trailer
Before your favorite Broadway bachelor Aaron Tveit goes all systematic, hydromatic, ultramatic, he's got a new movie coming out. As previously reported, Big Sky, also starring Bella Thorne, Kyra Sedgwick and Frank Grillo, will hit theaters and video on demand on August 14. Directed by Mexican filmmaker Jorge Michel Grau (whose We Are What We Are centered on a family of cannibals), the dark film features Tveit as an emotionally and physically scarred young man. Check out the first trailer below!
SAG to Honor Carol Burnett
Stage and screen star Carol Burnett will be the 52nd recipient of SAG-AFTRA's SAG Life Achievement Award and is set to receive the honor at the 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 30, 2016. Best known for her long-running TV variety program, The Carol Burnett Show, she received an honorary Tony in 1969 and Tony nods for her performances in Moon Over Buffalo and Once Upon a Mattress. Most recently seen on Broadway in 2014’s Love Letters, Burnett's additional Great White Way credits include Putting It Together and Fade Out—Fade In.
Watch Daniel Radcliffe's Perfect Karaoke
Daniel Radcliffe may be a terrible receptionist but he's brilliant at karaoke (of course he is, he's won five Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards). Check out the Harry Potter star's most recent viral video, below, where he executes a perfect rendition of Eminem's "The Real Slim Shady," ably assisted by his girlfriend Erin Darke. We miss you, Mr. Radcliffe, please come back to the Great White Way soon. We're sure Lin-Manuel Miranda can find you a spot in Hamilton.
