Satisfied?! Release Dates Set for Hamilton Cast Album

Now virtually any room can be the room where it happened (just use headphones in public spaces, OK?). Broadway.com has confirmed the release dates for the previously reported cast recording for Great White Way sensation Hamilton. The album will be available digitally on September 25, with a two-disc in-store release date set for October 16 on Atlantic Records. It is produced by the Roots’ Black Thought and Questlove.

The musical, created by and starring Lin-Manuel Miranda, follows Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, from scrappy young immigrant to George Washington’s right hand man to founder of the U.S. Treasury. Making appearances are Thomas Jefferson, his wife Eliza, her sisters Angelica and Peggy, King George and his friend and rival: Aaron Burr (“the damn fool who shot him”).

In addition to Miranda, the cast includes Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Daveed Diggs and Jasmine Cephas Jones.
