The soaring spectacle is coming together! Bradley Dean and Ryan Vona will join the previously announced Ruby Lewis in Cirque du Soleil—Paramour. The production, which is set to unite the signature style of Cirque du Soleil with Broadway’s storytelling, will begin previews on April 16. Opening night is scheduled for May 25.
Along with Lewis as Indigo the poetess, Dean (The Last Ship) as A.J the director and Vona (Once) as Joey the composer, the cast of actors, dancers and circus arts performers will include Tom Ammirati, Andrew Atherton, Kevin Atherton, Lee Brearley, Yanelis Brooks, Sam Charlton, Martin Charrat, Nate Cooper, Katrina Cunningham, Myriam Deraiche, Kyle Driggs, Jeremias Faganel, Amber Fulljames, Steven Trumon Gray, Tomasz Jadach, Rafal Kaszubowski, Reed Kelly, Denis Kibenko, Joe McAdam, Raven McRae, Sarah Meahl, Amber J. Directed by Philippe Decouflé, Paramour is set in the world of Golden Age Hollywood. The event will spin the tale of a beautiful young poet forced to choose between love and art.
