The company of off-Broadway's The Woodsman met the press at their rehearsal space on January 13. Inspired by the writing of L. Frank Baum, the acclaimed play was written by James Ortiz and features music by Edward W. Hardy and lyrics by Jennifer Loring. Directed by Ortiz and Claire Karpen, the piece tells the origin story of the Tin Woodsman, the woman he loved and the witch that would stop at nothing to keep them apart.
