For The Color Purple, these numbers are probably too beautiful for words. The revival, which stars fresh face Cynthia Erivo, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and Orange Is the New Black’s Danielle Brooks, appeared in the top five shows by capacity this past week at 96.55%. On the whole, numbers picked up a bit as the snow cleared; particularly compared to last week, when all Saturday performances were canceled. The top five spots on the board were claimed by usual suspects Hamilton, The Lion King, Wicked, The Book of Mormon and Aladdin.
