Ben Jacoby Will Take Over for Jarrod Spector in Broadway's Beautiful; Jessica Keenan Wynn Returns to the Cast

Ben Jacoby is set to put the bomp (in the bomp, bomp, bomp)! The Phantom tour alum will step into the role of Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical on March 3, replacing Jarrod Spector, whose last performance is scheduled for February 28. Additionally, Jessica Keenan Wynn, who filled in for Anika Larsen for six months in 2015, will return to take over the role of Cynthia Weil on April 26. Larsen’s last performance is set for April 24.

Featuring songs written by Gerry Goffin, Carole King, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil and a book by Douglas McGrath, Beautiful tells the story of King from her early days as a Brooklyn teenager (named Carol Klein) struggling to enter the record business to her years spent as a chart-topping music legend.

The current cast at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre also includes Chilina Kennedy as Carole King, Scott J. Campbell as Gerry Goffin, Paul Anthony Stewart as Don Kirshner and Liz Larsen as Genie Klein.
