Oscar winner and five-time Tony nominee Estelle Parsons, two-time Tony winner Judith Ivey and more will star in the world premiere of Out of the Mouths of Babes. Directed by Barnet Kellman, Israel Horovitz’s new comedy will begin previews on June 7 and officially open on June 19 at Cherry Lane Theatre off-Broadway.
Joining Parsons (Bonnie and Clyde) and Ivey (Hurlyburly, Steaming) in the cast will be Angelina Fiordellisi (Zorba) and Francesca Choy-Kee (Disgraced).
Out of the Mouths of Babes depicts what happens when four women arrive in Paris for the funeral of a 100-year-old man who loved each of them—at times variously, at time simultaneously. For 24 hours, they share his apartment, delicious secrets, and a dead cat.
