Colman Domingo's Dot, Directed by Susan Stroman, Celebrates Opening Night

Colman Domingo's new play Dot opened at the Vineyard Theatre on February 23. The piece, directed by Tony winner Susan Stroman, takes place during the holidays as matriarch Dotty (Marjorie Johnson) struggles with her memory and her children grapple with caring for her. It's a happy reunion for Stroman and Domingo (below); the two worked together on the Tony-nominated musical The Scottsboro Boys.
