Tickets are now available to experience Heisenberg, Tony-winning playwright Simon Stephens' latest work following The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Tony winner Mary-Louise Parker and Denis Arndt will reprise their roles from the twice-extended off-Broadway hit. Directed by Mark Brokaw, the production will begin performances on September 20 and officially open on October 13 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Main Stem venue, the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
Amidst the bustle of a crowded London train station, Georgie (Parker) spots Alex (Arndt), a much older man, and plants a kiss on his neck. This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a life-changing game.
Best known for her portrayal of Nancy Botwin on Showtime’s Weeds, Parker received a Tony Award for her performance in Proof and was also nominated for Reckless and Prelude to a Kiss. She most recently appeared on Broadway in Manhattan Theatre Club's The Snow Geese. Arndt is most notorious for his roles in L.A. Law, Annie McGuire and Basic Instinct; he has also been seen on screen in Grey’s Anatomy, Past Life, Boston Legal, 24 and Providence. Stage credits include The Tempest, King Lear, Othello, Richard II and The Ballad of Soapy Smith.
