David Rossmer is Les Miserables' New Master of the House on Broadway

David Rossmer is about to check in at Broadway’s Les Miserables. Beginning May 13, the stage alum will assume the role of innkeeper Thenardier, taking over for Gavin Lee at the Imperial Theatre.

Rossmer has appeared on Broadway previously in Peter and the Starcatcher, Fiddler on the Roof and Titanic. His additional credits include Fortress of Solitude and The Other Josh Cohen off-Broadway and Vinyl, Boardwalk Empire and Blue Bloods on screen. Rossmer is also the co-creator of the cabaret series Don’t Quit Your Night Job.

Rossmer will join a cast that currently features John Owen-Jones as Valjean, Hayden Tee as Javert, Alison Luff as Fantine, Brennyn Lark as Eponine, Chris McCarrell as Marius, Alex Finke as Cosette, Rachel Izen as Madame Thenardier and Mark Uhre as Enjolras.

The revival is set to play its final performance on September 4.
