In 1951, Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron danced and dazzled across the silver screen as their characters Jerry Mulligan and Lise Bouvier fell in love in the City of Light. Almost 65 years later, An American in Paris filled Broadway's Palace Theatre stage with swirls of vibrant color, sweeping audiences and critics off their feet and nabbing director/choreographer Christopher Wheeldon the 2015 Tony Award for Best Choreography. Astaire Award winner Leanne Cope and Broadway newcomer Garen Scribner soar in Kelly and Caron's iconic roles; the production's ensemble, which includes Will Burton, Taeler Cyrus, Stephen Hanna, Nathan Madden, Charlotte O’Dowd, Candy Olsen, Rebecca Riker and Charlie Sutton, floats on air. Photographer Matthew Murphy captured them giving off some major Hollywood glamour vibes at the Metropolitan Building. Check out the Broadway ensemble making "Fidgety Feet" look fierce!
