The Broadway.com staff is crazy for Culturalist, the website that lets you choose and create your own top 10 lists. Every week, we’re challenging you with a new Broadway-themed topic to rank.
New York City's Pride Parade weekend will be especially meaningful following the massacre that happened at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, on June 12. This attack on the LGBT community has resulted in an outpouring of support from around the globe, including the Broadway family. This year's Tony Award ceremony was dedicated to the victims and their families, and the messages of love were prominent throughout the night. Many Broadway stars recently gathered to record and perform the benefit single "What the World Needs Now Is Love." The Great White Way has been a longtime champion for LGBT pride, and now we're wondering which Broadway show is the epitome of that pride. Broadway.com Editorial Assistant Lindsey Sullivan kicked off the challenge with her top 10. Now it's your turn. Happy Pride!
