Christmas has come early! (And Easter. And Halloween.) Based on the Oscar-winning film, Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical is Broadway-bound—and we've got a rainbow-bright first look. Bryce Pinkham takes on Bing Crosby's role as Jim, who, upon leaving the bright lights of show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut, quickly discovers life isn’t the same without a bit of song and dance. His luck takes a spectacular turn when he meets Lora Lee Gayer's character Linda; together, they turn the farmhouse into a fabulous inn with dazzling performances to celebrate each holiday, from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July. Corbin Bleu follows in Fred Astaire's footsteps as Ted, Jim's best friend who tries to lure Linda away to be his new dance partner in Hollywood. The tuner will feature 20 classic songs from the Berlin catalogue, including “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” “Easter Parade” and “Cheek to Cheek.” The new Irving Berlin musical begins previews September 1, with an official opening scheduled for October 6.
