Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats put its paw prints on Broadway in 1982, garnering seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved tuner is hailed for its music, its precedent-setting cast members and of course, its choreography. The legendary Gillian Lynne created the movements Broadway's finest felines execute eight times a week, and the latest Great White Way incarnation was choreographed by Hamilton Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler. The revival boasts a cast of fancy-footed Broadway alums and game-changing newcomers, including Ahmad Simmons, Giuseppe Bausilio, Ricky Ubeda, Eloise Kropp, Arianna Rosario, Lili Froehlich, Kim Fauré, Tyler Hanes, Georgina Pazcoguin and Emily Pynenburg. Photographer Matthew Murphy got the Cats cast messy with flour to better capture their clean moves. Don't let the fur fool you; these athletic dancers are as tough as nails.
