Lin-Manuel Miranda and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are willing to go to great lengths to prevent movie-goers from texting during Moana, Miranda’s next highly anticipated musical project. The Disney film hits theaters on November 23, and The Rock demonstrated exactly what’ll happen to those who feel the need to be on their phones in the audience. Thomas Kail Tapped for Fox Comedy
After winning an Emmy for directing Grease: Live, Thomas Kail has another small screen project lined up. The Hamilton Tony winner is teaming up with Oscar-winning rapper and actor Common and How to Make It in America creator Ian Edelman to produce 93 Til Infinity. The Fox single-camera comedy, according to Deadline, is written by Edelman and follows a rapper who had a prolific career in the ‘90s but is now questioning the next stages of his life.

Before she was the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, she was “the Mimi of a Sugar Ray jukebox musical.” Golden Globe winner Rachel Bloom stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden to discuss her “Rent-like” take on the late-90s band’s sonic gems.
