Due to upcoming renovations at the Lyric Theatre, the high-flying Paramour will play its final performance in the massive Ambassador Theatre Group venue on April 16, 2017. The Cirque du Soleil production is looking to relocate to another theater after that time; details will be announced at a later date.
Combining the Great White Way's signature storytelling and Cirque's spectacular acrobatics, the production officially opened on May 25. The show is currently in discussions with New York and international theater owners to determine its next steps.
Directed by Philippe Decouflé, Paramour features a 38-member cast that blends the best in circus arts and Broadway razzle dazzle. The quadruple threat of a musical is the first of Cirque du Soleil's kind and stars newcomer Ruby Lewis at the center of a Golden Age Hollywood-set love triangle. Jeremy Kushnier and Ryan Vona's characters will fight for her heart as scene-stealing jugglers, high-flyers and even a New York City rooftop chase (on trampolines) heighten the stakes.
Broadway.com customers with tickets to canceled performances will be contacted with information on refunds or exchanges.
